SPA DENTISTRY VS. REAL LIFE

You've seen and heard the ads for dental "spas" that offer you all sorts of extras along with improving your smile. What might surprise you is that we offer a number of these extras right here in The Colony.

While we may not offer massages and Botox treatments, we can offer most of the same cosmetic procedures, at a reasonable fee.

One of the most affordable treatments is replacing old amalgam - silver metallic fillings - that cause the teeth to look too dark and less attractive. Although it has been proven that the mercury in the amalgam is not a health consideration, many people are more comfortable replacing those fillings with composites that do not contain mercury.

Old tooth-colored fillings can also stain and yellow with age. Composite technology has improved greatly over the last few years, and yellowing problems have been greatly reduced. You might consider replacing these restorations, especially after you have your teeth whitened.

Shaping the teeth is a common procedure done to uneven or pointed teeth. Dr. Manning can also reduce the size of gaps between your teeth and restore small chips and cracks in the enamel.
