DENTIST: Dr. Bill Manning, DDS
I was born in San Diego, California and grew up in Houston. I attended
several colleges and earned a BS in Electrical Engineering at University
of Texas in Austin. After 3 1/2 years of active duty with the Air
Force in Oklahoma City (Tinker AFB), I attended and graduated from
Baylor College of Dentistry where I was an instructor in the Children's
Clinic. I opened my practice in The Colony as one of the first storefront
businesses in 1979. I've always been interested in serving my community,
so I was active as a council member and Mayor of The Colony for
about 10 years.
My wife Laurie and I have been married since 1981. We have four
grown children and two grandchildren.

PREVENTIVE CARE PROFESSIONAL: Rachel
The dental hygienist
is a licensed primary health-care professional, oral health educator,
and clinician who provides preventive, educational, and therapeutic
services supporting total health for the control of oral diseases
and the promotion of oral health. Quality dental hygiene care
is more than the routine performance of clinical procedures. It
includes assessment, treatment, education, and evaluation of therapies
and requires the hygienist to think critically about treatment
options and develop individualized care plans that meet the needs
of their patients. The success of each care plan depends upon
the patient's understanding of each procedure and daily care of
the oral cavity.
Our hygienists hold
Ridgepointe Dental's philosophy in high regard and welcome any
questions regarding treatment or any other aspect of the patient's
visit. As knowledgeable, caring professionals, they will be happy
to take as much time as needed to discuss any questions or concerns.

Dental Hygienist since 2001
My husband and I have been married for three years and have
a baby boy. I love to spend time with my family, and with our two
beagles, Patterson and Little One.

Chairside Assistant since 1989
My husband and I have been married since 1974. We have three
grown children and one grandson. I enjoy singing, crocheting, and
hanging out with my girlfriends.

I started out at Ridgepointe Dental in the front office and
I'm now a Dental Assistant. I recently married the world's best
man and we are very happy. I enjoy my career, and meeting and
caring for our great patients.

DEBBIE
Business Assistant since 1998
I've been married to my high school sweetheart since 1976.
Our daughter is happily married and lives close by and our son is
working construction around the Metroplex. My hobbies are working
out, remodeling our home, spending time with family and friends,
and planning our next trip. An interesting fact about my life is
that by the age of 16, I had lived in 13 different homes. Dad was
in the USAF.

MARYLIN

I met my husband on a blind date and I knew from that date
that I wanted to marry him. We have been married since 1979. He
is self-employed as a locksmith. We have lived and worked in The
Colony area the whole time. We have a son who graduated from Texas
A&M. I studied sign language for three years. I have three dachshounds,
two canaries, several finches, and a parakeet. I love karaoke and
play spades with my neighbors.
